Boston!

Jimmy and I decided to leave the hustle and bustle of NYC, and head to gorgeous Boston for the weekend!

We had a lovely time there - it was so, so pretty, and the whole place was covered in snow! We especially loved all the old buildings, visiting Harvard, Clam Chowder, and the sweet little shopping streets that reminded us of the high streets in London, just less busy!

I also rode the subway - a very big accomplishment for me as I have a massive fear of underground trains and refuse to take the tube in London!

We are now back in NYC for another few days, and then back to London!

Bye!

Still in NYC

We're still in NYC, but Mum and Boyce left this morning for Paris. It was so sad to say goodbye to them - we've had the BEST time with them in the USA and are already planning the next trip!!

Yesterday we took the ferry over to Staten Island, and the crystal clear skies meant we had a beautiful view of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Ellis Island, The Statue of Liberty, and New Jersey! Staten Island itself wasn't extremely exciting, but we did have some delicious clam chowder!

Jimmy and I are off to Boston tomorrow to spend the weekend there! Then we're back in NYC for another five days!

Night!

New Year's Eve!

We spent New Year's Eve at BB King's Blues Club in Times Square, NYC. It was total madness trying to get in, and absolutely freezing (the wind made it negative 17 degrees celcius!!!) but was worth it to see Chuck Berry live!

The now 82 year old was extremely entertaining and although a little out of time and out of key, still very good!

We were home and in our WARM hotels by 10pm, and watched the ball drop on TV! It was a very fun evening!

Our Wedding

On Tuesday, December 30, Shane (Jimmy) and I were married in New York City!

It was a beautiful day, followed with an incredible dinner at Gordon Ramsay's restaurant at the London Hotel.

We were blessed with sunny skies all day long, as compared to the following day that was in the negatives all day and snowing heavily!

We're in NYC for another week and a half, with a little trip to Boston in between.

Happy New Year to everyone!
