Dollywood!

We arrived in Pigeon Forge on Tuesday, a little town nestled amongst the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee. We expected a country town, but it was almost like a mini Las Vegas! There were restaurants everywhere, loads of outlet shops, and so many activities you could spend weeks there! But the main attraction, and the reason I wanted to go there, was for Dolly Parton's theme park- Dollywood!!

We were sad to wake up to heavy rain on Wednesday, and thought we'd never make it there. But a few hours later the rain stopped, so we rushed out and were lucky to have not a drop of rain the whole time we were there! It also meant that the place was deserted, so we didn't have to line up for any rides!

The theme park was amazing - all set out in a Colonial theme with the friendliest staff you'll ever meet! It's a beautiful backdrop too - the smokies are gorgeous!

We left Pigeon Forge on Thursday and headed to Greenville, South Carolina, where some of Boyce's relatives live. We're here for a few days, then off to Georgia!
