We had a great day in Nashville today - starting with a trip to downtown and lunch at Hooters! I never thought I'd step foot into that establishment, but it wasn't so bad after all. Broadway in downtown is a little like Beale Street in Memphis, only more country rather than blues. If you need cowboy boots, this is the place to go!
We then drove out to the Grand Ole Opry - the place that defines American country music. After having a gigantic pizza for dinner (ALL food in the US is MASSIVE!) we headed back to Broadway to catch some live country music. We went to a place called 'The Stage,' and the singer Travis Birch and his band were fantastic!
We're leaving Nashville in the morning for Pigeon Forge, Tennessee!
