Berlin

We spent the past three days in Berlin, and absolutely froze! The first day it poured with rain and snowed, so we raced off to find the nearest shopping mall to buy boots, scarfs, beanies, gloves, and thermals!

We had heard Berlin wasn't a pretty city, but a new city that was apparently fun for young people. I think this is definitely true, as most of it seemed brand new and very unlike Paris or Rome (Except for the photos above, which are the main tourist attractions like the Reichstag and Berliner Dom). And as for the fun part - I think this happens after 11pm, and this is when Jimmy and I were both sound asleep!

We enjoyed devouring schnitzel and drinking beer for 70 cents, and wish we could have spent more time exploring other parts of Germany. We took the train today to Prague, and it was such a beautiful journey - we passed some really pretty towns near Dresden!

Right now we are in our apartment in Prague - and it is huge! It is so modern and we both wish we could transport it to London and live in it there! We went to the supermarket tonight and bought fresh veggies and cooked our own dinner - a nice change from eating out every night! Looking forward to exploring Prague tomorrow!

Chago Baggo!
