Yesterday we arrived in bella Venice! This place is unreal - it's wonderful having no cars around, and the only way to get to places is by foot or boat!
Today we went for a stroll around the town, firstly up to St. Marc's Basilica. The whole square and the surrounds of the church was flooded! They had to put platforms everywhere so you could walk around and not get soaking wet!! Jimmy and I are both amazed at just how high the water levels are here. You can see steps and even front doors half submerged.
We're resting our feet right now, and will hopefully take a ride in a Gondola this afternoon!
