Paris, Je T'aime!

Today we decided to visit the Louvre. It's such a good time of year to travel because although it's fairly cold, everywhere is so quiet!!

We had to see the Mona Lisa first (apparently you're not supposed to take photos, but everyone was and security didn't seem to mind), but the highlights for us were the Ancient Egypt Antiques, and Napoleon's Apartment. It was just beautiful!!

We've also been enjoying the food in Paris - the sweets here are incredible! And very reasonably priced compared to Italy. We're staying next to a famous street market, filled with restaurants, cafes, cheese shops (or, Fromageries), seafood, boulangeries, and more! Tonight we had some delicious risotto and spaghetti at one of the restaurants.

Tomorrow we leave for Berlin, and we've just found out that heavy snow is predicted! Oh my!

Au Revoir!

Meg x
